Courtney is an associate attorney at Piskel Yahne Kovarik who focuses her practice on employment law, corporate law, and real property disputes. 

Courtney graduated with high honors from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she was an active member of the student community. During law school she clerked for two Spokane-area law firms and externed with the City of Cheney Prosecutor's Office. She continues to volunteer with the Cheney Youth Court and the Washington State Association of Youth Courts.

A Spokane native, Courtney graduated from Mead High School and went on to attend the University of Washington. After graduation, she staffed two Washington State legislative campaigns, including the most expensive Washington State Senate race to date.
