Associate Attorney

Piskel Yahne Kovarik, PLLC, a Spokane law firm, is seeking an associate attorney with one to five years of experience to work on a wide range of challenging legal matters for clients doing business in the Inland Northwest region and beyond. Our attorneys are actively engaged in the practice areas of real estate, construction, employment, and business-related litigation. As an associate attorney at Piskel Yahne Kovarik, you will have hands-on responsibility for cases and clients, as well as top-notch training and mentoring while contributing to solving problems, resolving disputes, and acquiring courtroom experience.

Requirements:

· J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials

· Three to six years of experience

· Experience in construction, real estate, or commercial litigation preferred

· Licensed to practice in the State of Washington

· Idaho State Bar admission a plus

· Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Strong analytical, research, writing and verbal communication skills

· Skilled in defining issues, performing legal research, analyzing problems, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and communicating those recommendations efficiently, effectively and with diplomacy

· Commitment to client service and relationship building

· Aptitude and desire for trial work

· Attention to detail

· Case leadership capabilities

· Understanding of business enterprises and knowledge of doing business in Washington

· Demonstrated success working on a team

Compensation: $70,000 - $105,000
